We are pleased to announce that the outside renovations of the warehouse at Rhynie are complete!
Firstly, in early Spring a new insulated roof was installed which will help with condensation and the issue of the old leaky roof damaging the books.
The next phase was the outside harling on the walls which was removed and new insulated cladding fitted – in Books Abroad green!
Finally, the flat roof above the office has been replaced too.
All this work was made possible by several generous donations. One being a very generous legacy and another from the charity The Netherdale Trust, which was dissolved and in doing so donated a substantial amount to the project. Many thanks for all the donations received.
